It is tin coated so that it's safe to consume all types of drinks in it.

2.What is the best way to clean Brass and Copper utensils?

You can use a normal dishwashing soap to clean the utensils from the inside and Pitambari or a paste made from Flour (Atta), Vinegar/lemon Juice, and salt can be applied on the outside to retain the shine of the utensils.

1.The silver lining on the utensil's inner side is tin-coating/Kalai. It is a temporary coating of Malaysian tin used to cook food in brass and copper utensils without any worry.
